Hold anywhere on the screen and your blob drifts toward your finger. Touch smaller glowing blobs to absorb them. Grow large enough and you ascend to a deeper stratum, where everything is new. Avoid urchins, larger rivals and above all the null, the pure-black horizon with a dashed magenta line.

No, and that is by design. A run is saved when you close the app and picked up where you left off, but however you come undone, the save is erased and the next drift starts fresh from stratum I. Your best results, pearls and skins are kept.

Pearls are credited as soon as the App Store confirms the purchase. If they haven't appeared:

• Close MELDO fully and reopen it. Pending purchases are re-checked every time the app opens or returns to the foreground.
• If you use Ask to Buy, the pearls arrive once the purchase is approved.
• Check that you have a connection, and that the purchase appears in your Apple receipt email.

Your pearl balance and skins are stored on your device, and MELDO has no accounts, so a deleted app takes them with it. Pearl packs are consumable purchases, so there is nothing for "Restore Purchases" to restore. We are sorry about this trade-off, which is what lets MELDO work without a sign-in. Play, and you'll earn pearls with every ascension.

No. MELDO is free to play in full. Pearls are earned by ascending and only buy cosmetic skins for your blob. The optional pearl packs just skip the wait.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the purchase.

The button appears once you're signed in to Game Center. Open iOS Settings → Game Center and sign in, then relaunch MELDO. Scores from runs played before the sign-in finishes are submitted automatically.

MELDO's soundtrack starts on your first tap. Check that the ♫ button at the top-left isn't muted, that your iPhone's silent switch is off, and that the volume is up. The music is generated live, so it changes with each stratum.

Yes, MELDO plays fully offline. Only purchases and leaderboards need a connection. It runs on iPhone with iOS 15 or later, in portrait.
